Tiffin University's women's soccer team could not find the back of the net at Findlay in their GLIAC opener, falling 1-0 in double overtime. The loss is the second consecutive 1-0 overtime setback the Dragons have endured, falling to Drury by the same margin in their home opener.

The gamewinner for Findlay came two minutes into the second overtime, as Sara Jones headed a cross into the left back corner off a pass from Amanda Bachmayer past Dragons goalkeeper Denise Resende.

Findlay outshot the Dragons 19-10, with TU managing 2 shots on goal. The Oilers also controlled the corner kicks 6-1. Neither team managed a shot on goal in the first half or the first overtime period.

Resenda managed 3 saves in the game over 101:52. Hannah Stevens and Lauren Bowyer had TU's shots on goal.
