Tiffin University returns home with a 2-2 overall record after splitting two matches on day two at the Rockhurst Classic. TU opened with a 25-12, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19 win over Shepherd College before falling to 17th-ranked Wayne State (NE) 14-25, 25-27, 20-25.

In the victory over Shepherd, Brooke Bernabei (Rockhurst All-Tournament selection) drilled 18 kills with 7 digs while Brittany Teaford was also in double figures in kills with 11 kills and 6 blocks. Danielle McQuade had 9 kills and 10 digs while Jessica Adams had 40 assists and 11 digs. Overall the Dragons had 8 team blocks and hit .293.

Against Wayne State, Bernabei posted a double-double with 12 kills and 14 digs while Adams had 7 kills, 31 assists, and 9 digs. Margaret Betz had 8 kills and Jordan Jenkins and Lindsay Heller combined for 22 digs.
