Tiffin University (11-3) won their 10th game in a row, sweeping Clarion 6-1 in game one and 12-3 in 6 innings in game two. The offense banged out 23 hits in the twinbill, with Abbey Cooksey getting the win with 7 innings of work allowing 3 hits and 0 earned runs. Amanda Temple had 2 hits with a double for 2 RBI while Lauren Mazzuca had 2 hits with a double. Tiffany Smith also drilled a home run. The victory also gave Head Coach Jeff Nickerson his 200th career victory.
In game two, Kelly Mayer allowed just 4 hits in 6 innings as the Dragons totaled 11 runs over the last three innings. Smith had two hits with a double for 4 RBI and Alyssa Brown had 3 hits with a double for 2 RBI. Meagen Baird also had 3 hits while Lesy Herbert had 2 hits with a home run for 2 RBI. Mazzuca had a triple and Delaney Talmage added a home run.
