The Dragons picked a good day to pull out a clutch, come-from-behind victory, thrilling the large Senior Day crowd in beating Ferris State in a close GLIAC matchup 2-1 in overtime.

The Dragons fell behind after a Bulldogs' goal in the 35th minute, but the goal served as a wakeup call for TU, as they scored one minute later to tie the score at 1-1 at the half. Lauren Merriman took a corner kick from Shelly Rogers and drilled it home from 18 yards out for the goal.

A strong wind was in Ferris State's favor throughout the second half, limiting TU's offensive opportunities and keeping the ball in Ferris State's offensive end for most of the half, but the Dragons held on and limited the number of quality shots on goal to force the overtime.

TU scored quickly, with Lauren Turkington knocking home a 15 yard shot off a touch pass from Lauren Bowyer for the gamewinner in the 95th minute.

Overall the Dragons outshot Ferris State 23-10 and had an 8-1 edge in corner kicks. Denise Resende got the win in goal, making 5 saves in 95 minutes while allowing one goal.
