Tiffin University won the first and fourth sets against visiting Lake Superior State, but couldn't keep the momentum as the Dragons fell to the visiting Lakers in five sets. The Dragons started the match with a 25-22 victory before dropping the next two 14-25 and 18-25. The Dragons would force a set five after a 25-17 victory, but fell in the finale 12-15. The loss drops the Dragons to 1-12 overall and 0-4 in the GLIAC.

Brittney Teaford had a solid day for the Dragons, recording 18 kills while Brooke Bernabei chipped in with 13 kills. Jessica Adams handed out 38 assists on the day. Bernabei had 18 digs to lead the team, and teammates Amanda Marquardt and Nikki Cranick contributed 15 and 14 digs respectively.
