TIFFIN, Ohio - The 17th-ranked Tiffin University men's soccer team secured a 2–1 victory over Northwood University on Saturday afternoon at the Paradiso Athletic Complex following a dominant second half.

The Dragons (5–1–3, 4–0–1 G-MAC) struck early when Zach Garcia found the back of the net just 1:35 into the match, assisted by Noah Purtz. That would be the Dragons' only shot attempt of the first half. Northwood (2–5–1, 2–3 G-MAC) answered later in the first half when Patrick Hamilton scored off an assist from Daniel Miranda in the 31st minute, sending the teams into halftime tied 1-1.

Tiffin broke the deadlock early in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Callum Ellington scored his second goal of the season, with Purtz picking up his second assist of the afternoon to put the Dragons ahead 2–1.

Tiffin's defense held firm the rest of the way by limiting the Timberwolves to only two second-half shot attempts.

Nick Cherry went the distance in goal and made two saves.
