The Tiffin University women's track and field team had six selected to the All-Conference team as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the outdoor track and field awards on Thursday afternoon.
All-Conference selections include Olivia Drozd, Mikelia Strong, Amilia Wise-Sweat, Ayanna Woods, Maekayla Rameau, and Nevaeh Lewis. Drozd and Strong were First Team selections, and Strong was also a Second Team selection. Other Second Team selections included Wise-Sweat, Woods, Rameau, and Lewis.
Drozd and Strong were G-MAC Champions in their respective events to earn First Team honors. Drozd placed first in the 1500 run with a time of 4:37.81 and Strong won the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.97 seconds. Wise-Sweat placed second in the 800 run with a time of 2:10.68.
The 4x100 relay team consisting of Woods, Rameau, Strong, and Lewis finished second with a time of 45.98 seconds.
The Dragons placed fifth out of 12 teams at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships with 64 points.
