The Tiffin University men's and women's track and field teams completed their final tune up on Saturday at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet as the Dragons prepare for the upcoming G-MAC Outdoor Championships.
Men's notable results:
Tesean Jefferson recorded a personal best time of 10.77 seconds in the 100.
Navonn Lindsey recorded personal bests in both the 100 (11.14) and 200 (22.69).
Antony Aziz recorded a personal best time of 23.33 seconds in the 200.
Joey Clabaugh recorded a personal best time of 3:58.54 in the 1500.
Thomas Nelson won the shot put with a mark of 15.71 meters (51' 6.5").
Women's notable results:
Amirah Dixon recorded personal bests in both the 100 (12.61) and 200 (25.97).
Ayanna Woods placed third in the 200 with a personal best time of 24.15 seconds.
Abbie Felske finished eighth while recording a personal best time of 2:22.90 in the 800.
Makiah Gurney recorded a personal best time of 2:24.86 in the 800.
The 4x100 relay team of Woods, Mikelia Strong, Nevaeh Lewis, and Maekayla Ramaeu placed first with a time of 46.72 seconds.
Kaitlyn Gum recorded a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 14.58 meters (47' 10").
