Nine Dragons have punched their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, two women and seven men.
Heading to Kansas on the women's side will be Kaitlyn Gum and Olivia Drozd. Gum will compete in the shot put and Drozd will run the 1500. Drozd was the 1500 G-MAC Outdoor Champion.
On the men's side, Reggie Rogers and Masakala Amuri will both be competing in the long jump. The duo placed first and third, respectively, in the event at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships.
Other field athletes competing will be Brock Carlson and Thomas Nelson. Carlson will participate in the shot put and Nelson will compete in the hammer throw.
On the track, it'll be the trio of Jordan Cortner (400 hurdles), Louis Ginane (10K), and Ramon Rodriguez (5K) who all won their respective events at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships.
The championships will be held May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas at Welch Stadium. Emporia State University will serve as the host of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
