The Tiffin University men's track and field team have been crowned the G-MAC Outdoor Championships!
The Dragons put together a dominant performance, collecting 186.66 points which was 23 more than second-place Ashland. It's the Dragons' first outdoor title since 2023.
Ramon Rodriguez won two events on Friday, the 5000 meter run and 1500 meter run. Rodriguez ran the 1500 in 3:51.32 and the 5000 in 14:36.08.
Jordan Cortner also claimed an event win, taking first in the 400 hurdles with a time of 50.83 seconds. Cortner also placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 46.57 seconds.
In the 5000 run, teammate Isaac Houghton finished second behind Rodriguez with a time of 14:36.68 while Reggie Rogers and Masakala Amuri finished second and fourth, respectively in the triple jump.
Gregoire Goupil placed fifth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.11 seconds and Kameron Walker finished fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.55 seconds.
Ariel Clark and Octavious Joe finished fourth and fifth, respectively in the 400 hurdles.
