Tiffin University (4-7, 2-5 G-MAC) could not keep pace with Northwood, allowing 5 consecutive goals to open play and eventually falling 18-7.

Tiffin trailed 5-0 after 8:00 of action before Cole Mack got TU on the board with an unassisted goal. Northwood led after one quarter 6-1.

Tiffin tallied three scores in the second quarter with Aaron Cotter, Mack, and Connor Gucwa getting goals but the Dragons still trailed at the half 10-4.

Northwood held a commanding 27-10 edge in shots in the first half along with a 30-11 ground ball lead.

Goals in the third by Aiden Criteser and Jack Howard brought TU to within 12-6 but Northwood put the game away with a 6-1 scoring margin in the final quarter.

Overall NU outshot TU 52-25 including 36-17 on goal. They held a 49-30 ground ball advantage and won 21 of 29 face offs.

Mack led TU with 3 goals while Gucwa also added 2 assists to his lone goal. Brady Sortor had 5 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers while Nick Overocker had 4 ground balls and 7 face off wins.

Tyler Nutting took the loss in goal, making 18 saves in 60 minutes.
