Dragons post dramatic 4-3 win over Northwood to reach G-MAC Finals

Tiffin University (15-9) pulled off a dramatic come-from-behind victory, defeating Northwood in the G-MAC Tournament Semifinals 4-3 to advance to the title bout against Findlay.

The Dragons won the doubles point with a pair of victories. Jemimah Choi/Brooke McNeal posted a 6-4 win while Erna Brdarevic/Katarina Yates won 6-3. Francesca Milani/Imani Shah fell 6-3.

In singles, Tiffin's three wins were by the slimmest of margins. Choi won a gritty 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win. McNeal pulled out a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 three-set win.

Clinching the win for Tiffin was Shah at #6 singles, as she came back to win 2-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.

Milani and Tea Schoulmann-Dore both fell in three set matches.

Tiffin will now take on Findlay in the G-MAC Championship match at 3 pm April 25.
