MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Tiffin University women's tennis kicked off the 2026-27 campaign over the weekend competing in the Allegheny Invitational on the campus of Allegheny College.  

Saturday notable results: 

The doubles team of Jemimah Choi and Brooke McNeal started the day with a 6-1 victory over Mercyhurst while the doubles team of Erna Brdarevic and Katarina Yates also posted a win over Mercyhurst, 6-4. Imani Shah and Francesca Milani had a dominant showing in doubles, blanking Mercyhurst 6-0. Milani also picked up a 6-2, 6-0 singles win against Juniata.  

Yates and Victoria Syms picked up singles wins. Yates earned two singles wins over Allegheny, and Syms won 6-0, 6-1 over Washington and Jefferson. Elliett Briggs, in her collegiate debut, fell to Mercyhurst 1-6, 1-6.  

Syms and Grace Arnold won in doubles 6-3 over Juniata and Anisha Sivakumar earned a 6-0, 6-2 singles win against Allegheny and teamed up with Tea Schoulmann-Dore in doubles to win 6-2 over Mercyhurst.  

Also in singles play, Sivakumar won a three-set thriller over Mercyhurst 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.  

Sunday notable results:  

Choi and McNeal earned another doubles win by defeating Case Western 6-2 and Syms picked up a singles win over Allegheny 6-4. Shah and Milani won in doubles over Mercyhurst 6-3 and edged Case Western 7-6 in a tiebreaker.  

Yates dominated Baldwin Wallace in singles play, winning 6-0, 6-0. Schoulmann-Dore and Sivakumar blanked Juniata 6-0.  

Choi defeated Case Western in singles 6-2, 6-3. Milani picked up another singles win with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Case Western. 

The Dragons will be back in action on September 19 and 20 when they travel to Oberlin, Ohio for the Oberlin Invitational.
