Tiffin University (9-13, 4-11 G-MAC) fell at Findlay 74-61, with a huge disparity at the free throw line hurting the Dragons.
Findlay held a 23-8 scoring margin over Tiffin at the foul line, as the Oilers hit 23 of 26 attempts to seal the win.
Trailing just 13-12 after the first quarter, the Oilers turned it around with a 19-6 scoring advantage in the second quarter to lead 32-18 at halftime. Tiffin shot just 15 percent in the second quarter as the Oilers built their lead.
Tiffin could get no closer than within 10 points during the second half. The Dragons shot 50 percent in the second half but Findlay's free throw shooting (14 of 16 in the second half) kept them in control.
While Tiffin outscored Findlay in the paint 30-24, the Oilers held the rebounding advantage 37-32.
Megan Campbell had a strong second half to finish with 17 points while
Serenitee Johnson had 11 points and 5 assists.
Isabelle Niederst added 10 points and
Garyana Overton had 9 points with 7 rebounds.
