Box Score Tiffin University (9-14, 4-12 G-MAC) failed to keep pace with Lake Erie in the fourth quarter, falling to the Storm 77-64.
Trailing by just five points 58-53 with 8:12 to play in the game, Lake Erie went on a 9-0 run over the next 5:00 to push its lead to 14 points and effectively put the game away.
Lake Erie had taken an early lead 21-16 after the first quarter but the Dragons bounced back in the second quarter to outscore the Storm 19-15 and trailed just 36-35 at halftime.
Lake Erie had its best shooting quarter in the third period, outscoring TU 20-13 and pushing their lead to 10 points early in the fourth quarter.
The Storm also held a huge edge on the foul line, outscoring TU 27-11 at the charity stripe while also holding a 46-36 edge in rebounding. The Dragons did most of their scoring in the paint, however, outscoring the Storm 38-20 inside.
Megan Campbell led with 15 points while
Serenitee Johnson had 12 points.
Hailey Unger had 11 points with 4 assists and
Isabelle Niederst totaled 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals.
Myka Richardson added 7 points and 6 rebounds off the bench while
Garyana Overton also had 6 points.
