Tiffin University men's track and field placed second at the G-MAC Indoor Championships, compiling 133.50 points.
Ashland came out on top with 140 points.
Ramon Rodriguez was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Meet and was the lone Dragon to earn First Team All-Conference honors. After winning the 5000 meter run yesterday, Rodriguez also took the 3000 meter run title on Saturday with a time of 8:14.61. Both event wins earned Rodriguez First Team recognition.
Earning Second Team honors were Louis Ginane, Preston Rutschilling, Reggie Rogers, and Johnny Howard.
Ginane finished second behind teammate Rodriguez in both the 3000 and 5000 meter run. Rutschilling placed second in the high jump with a mark of 2.09 meters (6' 10.25"). Rogers placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 14.60 meters (47' 11") and Howard finished second in the heptathlon with 5065 points.
Other results included Isaac Houghton finishing 10th in the mile with a time of 4:18.48 while the 4x400 relay team of Kameron Walker, Brody Devlin, Ariel Clark, and Jordan Cortner finished third with a time of 3:14.08.
Brock Carlson earned a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 17.16 meters (56' 3.75").
