Tiffin University men's track and field is off to a very strong start at the G-MAC Indoor Championships.
The Dragons are currently in first place with 59.50 points, leading second-place Ashland by 7.5 points.
Ramon Rodriguez was named the 5000 meter run G-MAC champion, finishing first with a time of 14:25.81. Teammate Louis Ginane finished right behind Rodriguez with a time of 14:27.17.
Reggie Rogers finished third in the long jump with a mark of 7.16 meters (23' 6") while Masakla Amuri and Elijah Miller finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the same event.
William Rahm placed fifth in the pole vault with a provo mark of 4.88 meters (16' 0").
Preston Rutschilling and LeVon Graham finished second and third, respectively, in the high jump. Rutschilling set a new provo mark at 2.09 meters (6' 10.25").
Thomas Nelson finished sixth in the weight throw with a provo mark of 18.79 meters (61' 7.75").
