Ramon Rodriguez continued his strong season Friday at GVSU's Big Meet, placing first in the mile while breaking a school record and G-MAC record.
Rodriguez finished the mile with a time of 4:01.43, breaking the eight-year-old school recording while besting the conference record by three seconds.
Joining Rodriguez in the mile was Gabe Douce who placed 15th with a time of 4:13.10.
In the 800 meter run, Dylan Carney finished 20th with a time of 1:54.61 and Joey Clabaugh placed 38th with a time of 1:57.75.
The Dragon women also had a select few athletes competing at GVSU on Friday.
Nevaeh Lewis took first place in the 60 meter dash for the third straight week with a time of 7.52 seconds.
Competing in the 200 meter dash was Ayanna Woods and Mikelia Strong. Woods recorded a new personal best time of 24.70 seconds and finished sixth. Strong finished 12th recording a time of 24.97 seconds.
Greta Macadam finished 27th in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:24.83.
