Ohio Dominican found the equalizer in the 52nd minute to make it 1-1, but the Dragons continued to dial up scoring opportunities and broke through in the 66th minute. Off a corner kick, Andre Robison scored to give Tiffin the lead back, 2-1, with Malick Sow providing the assist on the goal.
In the 74th minute, Callum Ellington had a breakaway one on two scoring chance and his shot was saved by the Panthers' goalkeeper to keep the game 2-1. Tiffin's defense kept the Panthers off the board the rest of the way to earn the win.
Nick Cherry went the distance in goal and made two saves, and Ellington led the way offensively with four shots. Ellington and Robison each recorded two shots on goal.
The Dragons outshot the Panthers 19-7 and had a 10-3 advantage in shots on goal. The only two corner kicks in the game belonged to Tiffin.
