Tiffin University (9-10, 4-8 G-MAC) could not overcome a shooting disparity on the road at Ohio Dominican, falling 71-61.
The Dragons shot 39 percent in the game while the Panthers answered with a 46 percent shooting percentage, holding a 10-point lead for most of the second half.Â
With the Dragons trailing 31-24 at halftime, the Dragons came out in the third quarter on a 10-2 run that put them ahead 34-33 at the 7:33 mark.Â
The Panthers shortly answered with their own 13-2 run that put them ahead by 10 points near the end of the third quarter. ODU then shot 58 percent in the final quarter, as the Dragons could not make the defensive stand needed to cut into the lead.
Overall ODU held a 39-31 edge in rebounds while holding Tiffin to just 5 of 22 from three point land. The Panthers connected on 50 percent of their three-point attempts.
