The Tiffin University baseball team has been picked to finish fifth out of six teams in the north division as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released the Preseason Coaches' Poll for both the north division and south division on Wednesday.
In the north division, Northwood was picked first and received 63 points and seven first-place votes. Ashland was selected second and received five first-place votes. Tiffin received 31 points to earn fifth.
Walsh was picked to win the south division, receiving seven first-place votes for 63 points. Kentucky Wesleyan was picked second, receiving five first-place votes for 60 points.
In 2025, the Dragons went 24-29 overall and finished fifth in the north division while earning the eighth and final bid to the G-MAC Tournament. In the conference tournament, the Dragons went 1-2.
The Dragons' conference schedule features four-game series with each team in the north division along with the top three teams in the south division based on the preseason poll.
Tiffin is slated to open the season with a three-game series at Lee University (TN) on February 7 and 8, and it's a new era for TU baseball as Troy Merriman enters his first year as the Dragons' head coach.
