Tiffin University (8-7, 3-5 G-MAC) benefited from red hot second-half shooting, scorching the nets at a 56 percent clip to down Ursuline 77-63.
Tiffin got off to a strong start, holding the Arrows to 23 percent field goal shooting in the first quarter to win the period 19-12.
After holding onto a 42-37 halftime edge, the Dragons turned up the offense in the final 20 minutes. Besides the 56 percent shooting, the Dragons also were tough from three-point land, posting a 40 percent mark for the game from deep. Overall TU held a 13-4 edge in triples.
Tiffin also held a 40-34 edge in rebounds along with 34 points scored in the paint.
Megan Campbell led the team with 17 points and 7 assists, while
Peyton Magee had 11 points off the bench.
Hailey Unger had 10 points with 6 rebounds while
Serenitee Johnson also had 10 points.
Isabelle Niederst had 7 points while
Myka Richardson added 6 points and team-high 8 rebounds.
