Tiffin University women's lacrosse (8-5, 4-2 G-MAC) got off to a good start but couldn't keep up with the scoring pace in the second quarter and fell at home to Walsh on Saturday afternoon 25-4.  

Lillian Graham opened the scoring 58 seconds in to put the Dragons on top 1-0 off an assist from Jessa Zaheri. That started a string of alternating goals that ended with the Dragons taking advantage of a Walsh penalty as Kenna Wigginton gave the Dragons a 3-2 lead.  

From that point on, it was all Walsh as the Cavaliers scored seven straight goals to make it 9-3 and they led 16-4 at halftime. In the second quarter, Tiffin was outscored 11-1. 

After Wigginton's goal to make it 3-2 Dragons, Walsh scored 23 of the final 24 goals in the game. The Dragons went scoreless in the second half and the Cavaliers scored nine goals. With 10:13 left in the first half, Graham scored to make it 9-4 and Walsh scored 16 unanswered after that. 

Graham scored two goals while Wigginton and Katelyn Jarvis each scored one. Zaheri, Caylin Kunze, and Guinevere Salas each had one assist. Graham and Wigginton had four ground balls and Graham had two caused turnovers. Jarvis and Graham both won four draw controls.  

Sarah Hart got the start in goal and took the loss, playing 22:50 minutes. Hart allowed 12 goals and made two saves. Sadie Wermuth played 22:10 minutes and allowed 11 goals. Paige Waldrup played the final 15 minutes and made three saves while allowing two goals. 

Walsh outshot Tiffin 35-10 and also had a 24-13 advantage in ground balls. Tiffin won 11 of the 32 draw controls and the Dragons were just 8 of 17 in clear attempts while Walsh was a perfect 13 for 13.
