Tiffin University (1-2) held the halftime lead but could not come back from a tough third period, falling at Holy Family 15-11.
The Dragons fell behind 5-3 late in the second period but scored three straight goals by
Leyton Roetting,
Kyle Geller, and
Cole Back to take a 6-5 lead into halftime.
The Dragons struggled defensively in the third period, however, as Holy Family outshot TU 14-8 to outscore the Dragons 6-0 in the period.Â
Trailing 11-6 heading to the final period, the Dragons picked up the scoring but could not get closer than four goals the rest of the way.Â
Overall Holy Family outshot Tiffin 46-42. They also slightly edged Tiffin in ground balls 52-49.
Back had 3 goals and an assist while

Alex Brown added 2 goals.
Dawson Baker took the loss in goal, making 16 saves over 60 minutes.
