Tiffin University (18-8, 2-0 G-MAC) got strong pitching in its conference opener at Findlay, posting 2-0 and 4-1 wins.

In the opener, Ella Esterby dominated over 7 innings, allowing just one hit with 6 strikeouts.

TU scored solo runs in the fourth and seventh innings. In the fourth, Reagan Mengerink doubled to lead off the inning. Pinch runner Tori Abel came home on Jessica Miller's double to make it 1-0.

In the seventh, Maci Head blasted a lead off home run to center field to finish the Dragons' scoring.

In the nightcap, Isabella O'Brien was also sharp, allowing just 3 hits and one run over 7 innings with 5 strikeouts.

Tiffin broke the game open with four runs in the fourth inning. Walks to Miller and Head along with a bunt single by Baylee Mirgon loaded the bases with no outs. Aubrie Harper followed with an RBI single. Molly Koesters grounded out to third for another run, and Tori McPherson then singled to give TU a 3-0 lead.

Tiffin got another run in the seventh. Kylee Kleiner got a pinch hit single to lead off the inning. Mengerink then singled to move Kleiner into scoring position, and Miller singled her home for Tiffin's final run.
