Tiffin University (8-16, 3-13 G-MAC) battled Hillsdale in the first half but could not keep up after halftime, falling 65-43.
The Dragons started the game strong, shooting 46 percent in the first quarter to take a 15-12 lead.
The tide turned in the second quarter, with the Chargers connecting on three triples while Tiffin shot 30 percent from the floor. Hillsdale won the period 19-10 and took a 31-25 lead into halftime.
The Dragons could not get back on track from the field, shooting just 23 percent in the third quarter including 1 of 12 through three periods from three-point. The Chargers won the quarter 18-8 and took a commanding 16 point lead into the final period.
Overall Tiffin shot just 29 percent for the game including 3 for 20 from three-point. Hillsdale forced 19 turnovers and outrebounded the Dragons 49-37.
Isabelle Niederst had a nice game off the bench with 14 points but was the lone Dragons player in double figures.
Grace Craig had 6 points with 6 rebounds while
Presley Feltner also had 6 points.
Megan Campbell and
Lyv Lindeman added 5 rebounds apiece.
