TU men's and women's track and field hosted a successful Tiffin Alumni Open on Saturday at the Heminger Center as the Dragons had multiple event winners at the event that was dominated by the green and gold. One school record was also broken.
Women's notable results:
Morgan Foos won two events, winning the 60 meter dash in 8.22 seconds and claiming the high jump title recording a mark of 1.62 meters (5' 3.75").
Nevaeh Lewis won the 300 meter dash in 39.24 seconds, breaking an 11-year-old school record. The 4x400 relay team of Lewis, Lexi Rodriguez, Ayanna Woods, and Mikelia Strong placed first with a time of 4:11.44.
Makayla May won the pole vault with a mark of 3.42 meters (11' 2.5") and Alyssa Bay came in second with a mark of 2.97 meters (9' 9").
Alexis Diehl won the shotput with a throw of 11.27 meters (36' 11.75").
Men's notable results:
Masakala Amuri won the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.01 seconds and Ariel Clark took first place in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:08.46.
Connor Tighe finished second in the mile recording a time of 4:35.55. Gabe Douce won the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:39.50.
The 4x400 relay team of Aiden Champagne, Brody Devlin, Clark, and Kameron Walker finished first with a time of 3:28.63. Preston Rutschilling won the high jump with a mark of 1.98 meters (6' 6").
William Rahm won the pole vault with a mark of 4.65 meters (15' 3"). Reggie Rogers was the long jump champion with a mark of 7.31 meters (23' 11.75"). Thomas Nelson won the weight throw with a mark of 20.17 meters (66' 2.25").
