Katelyn Owens earned Second Team All-G-MAC honors as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the volleyball awards on Friday afternoon.
The junior middle hitter tallied 175 kills with a .343 hitting percentage (sixth-best in the G-MAC). Owens also racked up 29 solo blocks which were tied for most in the conference.
Owens' season totals include 86 sets played, 3 assists, 15 service aces, 55 digs, and 71 total blocks. The 175 kills were the third-most on the team, while the 29 solo blocks were a team-high.
This is the first all-conference honor for Owens.
The Dragons finished the year 11-13 overall with a 6-9 mark in the G-MAC, just missing out on a G-MAC Tournament berth.
