Tiffin University (9-2-3, 8-1-2 G-MAC) stayed in the hunt for the G-MAC title, posting a 2-0 win over Ashland to remain one point out of first place.
The win was Tiffin's 9th shutout of the season, as 
Nick Cherry improved to 9-2-3 on the season. He made 2 saves over 90 minutes as the Dragons' defense held Ashland to just 2 shots on goal.
Noah Purtz got the Dragons on the board in the 37th minute off a pass from 
Sam Brittain as Tiffin led 1-0 at halftime.
The Dragons got a big insurance goal in the 86th minute from 
Callum Ellington off a double assist from 
Zach Garcia and 
Yaw Turkson.
Overall Tiffin held a big 17-4 shot advantage including 8-0 in the first half.Â
