Tiffin University (6-7, 1-4 G-MAC) had a rough day at the office, as Ohio Dominican walked away with a 94-48 victory.
Tiffin struggled from the floor during the first quarter, shooting just 33 percent while the Panthers opened with 43 percent shooting as they took the opening period 19-13.
The Panthers took advantage of turnovers and scorched the nets from three-point land (5 for 8) as they exploded in the second quarter. After posting a 24-12 edge in the period, the Panthers led by 43-25 at halftime.
The Dragons were unable to turn the tide after the break. The Panthers shot 64 percent in the second half and took advantage of 26 TU turnovers for 34 points. They won the third quarter 26-11 and the final period 25-12.
ODU finished shooting .500 from three (9 for 18) while Tiffin connected on just 4 of 18. The Panthers also won the rebounding battle 40-27 and held a 44-30 edge in interior scoring. ODU also shot 53 percent for the game including going 13 for 17 from the line.
Megan Campbell was the lone Dragons player in double figures, totaling 16 points with 7 rebounds.
Bree Allen had 8 points, as did
Grace Craig.
Lyv Lindeman finished with 7 points.
