Tiffin University (7-12, 2-9 G-MAC) got off to a slow start and could not catch up, as Ursuline raced to a 71-46 victory.
The first quarter was a killer for the Dragons, as they hit just one field goal in the period and were outscored 15-2 in the quarter. The Arrows opened with 63 percent field goal shooting while Tiffin shot 9 percent.
Tiffin shot 41 percent for the rest of the game but it wasn't enough to overcome 24 total turnovers and a strong advantage in the paint for the Arrows. Tiffin's turnovers led to a 35-16 scoring edge off turnovers for Ursuline, while the Arrows also had a 44-26 scoring margin in the paint. They also outrebounded Tiffin 32-26.
Megan Campbell led the Dragons with 13 points and 6 rebounds while
Lyv Lindeman also reached double figures with 10 points.
Bree Allen had 6 points, and
Grace Craig had 6 rebounds.
