Tiffin University (6-11, 1-8 G-MAC) fell behind early but rallied to close the gap at the start of the final quarter. The rally wasn't enough, as the Dragons fell to Findlay 71-52.
Findlay opened the game red hot, shooting 66 percent to outscore TU 14-8. Findlay continued to connect from three-point land as well, outscoring Tiffin 19-14 in the second quarter to take a 33-22 lead into halftime.
Tiffin had its best shooting quarter of the game in the third quarter, connecting on 41 percent of its shots and outscoring UF 20-18 in the quarter to trail 52-42 with 10:00 to play.
Findlay took advantage of Tiffin's 16 turnovers, holding a 25-13 edge in points off turnovers despite having two more turnovers itself (18). Findlay also held a big 11-5 edge in treys and outrebounded Tiffin 35-23 inside.Â
Lyv Lindeman had a strong second half to finish with 16 points, while
Megan Campbell had 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Isabelle Niederst also had 10 points.
