Box Score Tiffin University (1-0-1) got its first win of the 2024 season in impressive fashion, taking to the road for an upset of 12th-ranked Maryville 2-1.

The win came in comeback fashion as TU trailed 1-0 at the half after a goal in the 33rd minute by Pontus Steffensen.

The Dragons got the win in dramatic fashion, scoring both of its goals in the final five minutes. Caleb Gibbons tied the game in the 87th minute with an unassisted goal, and Amara Kamara got the gamewinner in the 89th minute off a pass from Zachary Garcia.

Overall the Dragons' defense was solid again, holding Maryville to just 7 total shots and only 4 on goal. TU outshot the Saints 15-7 and held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Felix Graf got the win in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
