Tiffin University (2-2-1, 1-0 G-MAC) opened conference play with a solid 3-0 win over visiting Thomas More.
The team was once again led by a solid defensive effort as the Dragons allowed just 3 shots on goal including only one in the second half.
Overall TU outshot the Saints 13-8, including 8-4 in the second half when the Dragons scored two goals to put the game out of reach.
TU opened scoring with a quick goal in the 7th minute when Zachary Garcia took a pass from
Anelson Azard and buried it in the back of the net. TU led at the break 1-0.
TU continued to dictate the tempo in the second half and got a big insurance goal in the 69th minute when
Carlensky Cambrone took a cross from
Jahzihno O'Garro to make it 2-0.
TU put the game away in the 88th minute when Azard tallied an open-net goal to cap the scoring.
Felix Graf got the win in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
