Tiffin University (1-2-1) could not preserve a first-half lead, falling to Davenport 2-1.
The Dragons struck gold early as
Freddie Oliver headed home a free kick from
Zach Garcia in the 3rd minute as TU took a 1-0 lead.
TU controlled the first half but could get no more goals, outshooting the Panthers 10-4.
The second half was a different story, as Davenport equalized on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute by Cam Power. The game remained deadlocked until the 79th minute when Easton Lopez tallied an unassisted goal to give the Panthers the lead.
TU still outshot Davenport 9-7 in the second half and 19-11 overall. They had 8 total shots on goal while Davenport totaled 6. TU also held an edge in corner kicks 5-3.
Felix Graf took the loss in goal, making 4 saves over 90 minutes.
