The Dragons (25-24) continued their hot start to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference after outlasting the Findlay Oilers 9-5.

Tiffin opened the scoring in the top of the second, plating two runs which included an RBI-single by
Aidan Grabowski.
Andrew Fairbrother extended the lead to three after delivering a single to right field, scoring
Cal Brazier in inning number three.

Findlay cut the deficit to just one after plating two runs in the bottom half of the third. The Dragons tallied five runs over the next three innings to extend their lead back out to six at 8-2.

The Oilers continued to battle their way back into the game, scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth, making it a three-run game before TU plated an insurance run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by
Ty Hatfield.

Five Dragons ended with a multi-hit game including
Logan Swonger,
Jack Clancy,
Tommy Thamann, Fairbrother and Grabowski. Both Swonger and Fairbrother ended 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI's. Hatfield also recorded two RBI's while Thamann led the team in runs scored with two.

Tiffin now awaits the winner between Northwood and Findlay and will play at noon tomorrow, May 10.
