Tiffin University (20-20, 6-10 G-MAC) could not keep pace with Malone on Senior Day, dropping a pair of games 8-1 and 7-2.

In the opener, Claire Feldkamp took the loss, tossing 5.2 innings and allowing 6 earned runs on 9 hits.

The game was close until the later innings. Trailing 2-0 in the fourth inning, TU got a run back. Maddie Woods led off with a triple. With two outs, Baylee Mirgon singled to drive in the run and make it 2-1, Malone.

The Pioneers came right back to score two more runs in the fifth and then put the game away with four runs in the sixth. The Dragons could muster just two extra base hits and four total hits in the game.

In game two, Malone jumped on the Dragons early, scoring all seven runs in the first two innings. Starter Isabella St. Peter took the loss, lasting 1.2 innings and allowing 3 earned runs.Lexi Key tossed 4.1 innings of scoreless relief, while Mackenna Raby finished the game with an inning of work.

Tiffin had six hits, all singles. They scored once in the first inning, as Woods and Molly Koesters reached via walks. With two outs, Mirgon singled up the middle for an RBI.

TU's other run came in the sixth inning. Mirgon singled and Iris Pierson reached on an error. With two outs, Alyssa Gettys singled to drive in the run. A walk by Lydia Kobie loaded the bases but a fielder's choice ended Tiffin's last good chance to get back in the game.
