The Dragons (9-10, 4-1 G-MAC) opened their series on the road against Hillsdale with a dominant pitching display in a 7-0 shutout victory.
Ben Hubert,
Mason Brunecz, and
Francisco Olivarez combined to allow just six hits for the game. Hubert earned his first win of the season after tossing the first four innings, allowing two hits with one strikeout followed by Brunecz with one punchout and just one hit allowed in three innings. Olivarez closed out the final two innings, fanning four in the process.
Ty Hatfield opened the scoring for Tiffin in the second inning with an RBI-single to score
Connor Huzicka before
Cal Brazier later scored on a wild pitch. The Dragons added a third run the following inning thanks to
Tommy Thamann's RBI-single to right-center.
Four insurance runs were added in the top of the eighth, on a string of hits including singles from Huzicka and Hatfield as well as a double by Brazier.
Three Dragons finished with a three-hit game including
Logan Swonger, Thamann and Brazier. Brazier finished 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. Hatfield led the team in RBI's with three, ending 2-for-4 on the day.

rd as Tiffin looks to continue its hot start to conference action.
