Tiffin University (2-1) controlled play from the opening faceoff, defeating La Roche 25-1.
The Dragons raced out to a 9-1 lead after one quarter, outshooting La Roche 28-2 in the process. The attack continued in the second quarter, as TU outshot the Redhawks 23-0 for 8 more goals to lead 17-1 at halftime.
