Tiffin University (2-1) controlled play from the opening faceoff, defeating La Roche 25-1.

The Dragons raced out to a 9-1 lead after one quarter, outshooting La Roche 28-2 in the process. The attack continued in the second quarter, as TU outshot the Redhawks 23-0 for 8 more goals to lead 17-1 at halftime.

Six different players had 5 or more points in the game for the Dragons, with Brandon MacDonell getting 6 points on the day. His effort also resulted in him collecting his 100th career point.

Overall the Dragons outshot the Redhawks 70-5, held a 58-14 ground ball edge, and forced 30 TU turnovers.

Kyle Geller and Aydan Gilbert both had 8 points apiece, with Geller getting 7 goals and an assist while Gilbert had 3 goals and 5 assists.

MacDonell had 4 goals and 2 assists and was joined by Isaac Wert with 6 points as he had a goal and 5 assists. Connor Gucwa (2 goals, 3 assists) and Matthew Nunnaro (3 goals, 2 assists) both had 5 points apiece.

Mike Roman led the defense with 14 ground balls and 6 caused turnovers, while Aidan Fischer had 11 ground balls The Dragons also won 24 of 29 faceoffs.

Spencer Bjork got the win in goal, allowing one goal over 60 minutes with no saves.
