Tiffin University (4-21, 2-15 G-MAC) were undone by 24 turnovers as they fell at Trevecca Nazarene 85-44.
The Trojans scored 30 points off those 24 turnovers and held a 30-8 points off turnover edge in the game.Â
Tiffin trailed just 13-10 after one quarter but things fell apart in the second quarter. TNU shot 56 percent from the floor and raced out to a 22-10 edge in the quarter to lead 35-20 at halftime.
The Trojans continued to shoot well throughout the second half as they fired at a 50 percent clip and put the game away with a 30-11 scoring edge in the third quarter.
TNU outrebounded Tiffin 46-39 and held a 34-20 scoring edge in the paint. Tiffin shot 23 percent overall including 4 for 31 (12 percent) from three-point land.Â
Savanah Richards was the lone Dragon in double figures with 10 points while
Grace Craig had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists off the bench.
Ellie Gabel also had 7 points while
Kirsten Williams had 5 points with 9 rebounds. Williams now needs 20 points to reach 1000 for her career.
Presley Feltner also finished with 7 rebounds.
