The Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-7-1, 1-4-1 G-MAC) finished off their four-game road trip Saturday afternoon at Northwood and fell by a final score of 3-0.  

The two teams remained scoreless for the majority of the first half until the host Timberwolves were able to score two goals in a 52 second span and both were scored by Ella Boyd. The first goal came in the 35th minute with the next one shortly after in the 36th minute.  

Northwood added another goal in the 55th minute to make it 3-0. The Dragons were able to tally 15 shots but only five landed on goal and were unable to get one into the net as NU's defense held strong throughout.  

The Timberwolves also had 15 shot attempts in the game and eight landed on goal. 

Malea Nelson played all 90 minutes in goal and made five saves while Callie Chevrette led the team in shot attempts with three. 

The Dragons return home to begin a three-game homestand on Thursday, Oct. 10 against Ohio Dominican at 4 p.m. at the Paradiso Athletic Complex. The Dragons will get a second chance at the Panthers and will look to avenge their loss last week.
