Tiffin University (11-4-1, 10-2 G-MAC) picked up a dramatic victory on the road at Lake Erie, scoring with just 2:16 left on the clock to win 1-0.
Both teams played tight defense throughout the game with both teams getting off only two shots apiece in the first half. Overall Tiffin and Lake Erie each had just 4 shots on goal apiece.Â
Tiffin finally broke through in the 88th minute when
Anelson Azard took a pass from PrayGod Palangyo and drove it home with a shot low right.
Tiffin edged the Storm 9-7 in total shots and also held a slim 3-2 lead in corner kicks.
Felix Graf got the win in goal, making 2 saves over 90 minutes.Â
