The Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-12-2, 1-8-2 G-MAC) dropped a 4-0 decision to Walsh on Saturday afternoon at the Paradiso Athletic Complex.
There was no shortage of action early on as Walsh fired off two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Aubree Lee came up huge as she saved a penalty kick nearly four minutes into the contest. The Cavaliers kept firing away and netted their first and only goal of the half in the 24th minute.
Walsh added a second goal just over five minutes into the second half and then put the game away with two more in the final 15 minutes including their fourth and final with 44 seconds remaining in the game. Four different players found the back of the net for the Cavaliers.
Walsh made their offensive presence known as they recorded 25 shot attempts in the game compared to only six by the Dragons. Tiffin recorded three shot attempts in both halves. Of their six, only two landed on goal while 13 of Walsh's 25 attempts were on goal.
Tia Nagle and Madison Moledor were the only two Dragons with a shot on goal in the game. Lee played all 90 minutes and made eight saves.
The Dragons hit the road again on Thursday, October 31 for a game at Lake Erie at 1 p.m.
