Tiffin University (8-3-1, 7-1 G-MAC) suffered its first conference setback in surprising fashion, falling to Ohio Dominican (1-9-2, 1-7-1 G-MAC) on the road 2-0.
The Dragons allowed a goal late in the first half, with Mamadou Sow scoring in the 42nd minute to give the Panthers a 1-0 halftime lead. Both teams had 3 shots and 3 corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes.
Tiffin turned up the attack in the 62nd and 63rd minutes as
Jahzihno O'Garro and
Caleb Gibbons both took shots but Gannon Graf made the saves for ODU.Â
Sow got another goal for Ohio Dominican in the 72nd minute. Tiffin only got one more shot on goal in the second half, as
Seth Basinger took a shot in the 77th minute but again Graf made the save.
Overall ODU outshot Tiffin 10-9 while TU held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.Â
Graf took the loss in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
