Tiffin University (8-4-1, 7-2 G-MAC) fell to second place in the conference after a narrow 1-0 loss to Findlay (9-2-1, 7-1-1).
The Dragons gave up a goal early, as Oliver Lindstrom scored for Findlay in the 12th minute off a pass from Cooper Solomon. The Dragons outshot Findlay in the first half 7-5 but could put no shots on goal.
In the second half, Tiffin turned up the pressure, outshooting the Oilers 8-4.
Anelson Azard and
Caleb Gibbons put two shots on target early in the second half but Keegan Grant made saves on both shots. Azard also took shots in the 73rd and 80th minutes but again Grant made the stop in the nets. Tiffin could put no more shots on target over the final 10 minutes.
Overall Tiffn outshot UF 15-9 while also holding a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Felix Graf took the loss, making 3 saves and allowing the lone goal over 90 minutes.
