Tiffin University (11-3, 1-0 G-MAC) opened its conference season in strong fashion, beating Northwood 6-1.

Tiffin swept the doubles matches. Carina Avram/Anaelle Lepinay, Emily Barrett/Mathilde Gilles, and Shea Foster/Jessica Peace all won by identical 6-2 scores.

Tiffin then won five of six singles matches. Barrett posted a 6-4, 6-1 victory while Peace won 6-0, 6-2. Gilles won 6-3, 6-4, Avram cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 victory, and Celine Ferron finished her opponent 6-2, 6-2. Lepinay retired with her match tied 6-1, 2-6, 2-2.
