Tiffin University (15-7, 4-1 GMAC) maintained its position in first place with a 6-1 win over Ashland.

In doubles, TU won two of three matches. Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford defeated Stuart Brdicka/Jordan Phelps 6-3, while Matthew Weaver/Ruben Fonga bagled Fabian Bussard/Omar Prince 6-0. TU's lone loss came when Tche Kun Teng/William Rassat dominated Gabriel de Oliveira/Ryan Gase 6-1.

In singles, TU won a number of close matches Ruben Fonga edged Stuart Brdicka 7-6, 6-3, while Michael Gurtner streaked past William Rassat 6-2, 6-3. Matthew Weaver picked up a tough three-set victory over Jordan Phelps 4-6, 7-5, 7-6, while Cyrille Colomb won in straight sets over Tche Kun Teng 6-3, 6-4. TU's lone loss came at fifth singles, where Fabian Bussard won in three over Daniel Martinez Roca 0-6, 6-4, 10-7, while TU's Mattia Colli returned the favor with a three-set win over Omar Prince 2-6, 6-2, 10-7.
