Tiffin University's men's tennis team (5-5) came up just short against Illinois-Springfield, falling 4-3.

TU was in good shape after the doubles round, winning two of three matches. Matthew Telford/Cyrille Colomb beat Oscar Toro/Tomas Martinez 6-3, while Michael Gurtner/Daniel Martinez Roca did the same to Matthew Lapsley/Nick Revin 6-3. TU's lone loss came from Menno Servaes/Sebastian Jonsson, who defeated Matthew Weaver/Ruben Fonga 6-2.

In singles play, Ruben Fonga battled hard over Menno Servaes 7-6 (11-9), 7-5, and Matthew Telford clipped Nick Revin 6-0, 6-4 for TU's only singles victories. Zubin Omar downed Matthew Weaver 6-1, 6-1, Sebastian Jonsson came back to beat TU's Cyrille Colomb 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-0, and Matthew Lapsley beat Daniel Martinez Roca 6-0, 6-1. Finally, Tomas Martinez defeated Michael Gurtner 7-6, 4-1, retired.
