A tough second half cost Tiffin University (5-6, 1-3 GMAC) in its conference matchup at Malone, as the Dragons fell 100-82.

The second half was the opposite of the first half, as TU battled back and forth with the Pioneers and trailed just 46-44 at halftime.

Early in the second half, with Malone ahead by a slim 55-52 margin, the Pioneers made their move, riding a red-hot three-point effort to put a 9-0 run together and pull ahead 64-52.

Malone went 16 for 25 (64 percent) from three-point land while the Dragons hit at 36 percent. Overall Malone outshot TU 57 percent to 44 percent.

TU could not slow the Pioneers down, as MU put together a 25-18 run to push its lead to 19 points with less than 5:00 remaining and put the game away.

Tylin Lockett-Fuller led the team with 21 points, while Luke Johnson added 18 points and Morgan Taylor tossed in another 17 points.

Dalaino Walker also hit double figures with 11 points and 5 rebounds, while Tanner Johnson finished with 6 points and 6 rebounds. Thomas Hickman also finished with 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists.
