Biography

2021-22:

Played in 13 games, and started 10 of them. Averaged 11.5 points, 3.7 assists, made 63.0 percent field goals, and had a 4.0 A/TO ratio.

Personal:

Son of Shannon and Danny Johnson… Has an older brother, Tanner, who is also a member of the Tiffin University Men's Basketball Program. 

Previous School:

Graduate Transfer / Pursuing Master's in Finance

2020-2021 (Senior): Played in seventeen games, and started eleven of them.  Tallied career & season highs in almost every statistical category during his senior year.   Helped Loyola reach the Patriot League Conference Tournament Championship Game.  

2019-2020 (Junior): Played in eight games, missing the last 16 with an injury… Had two boards and an assist against Elizabethtown... Tied his career-high with three rebounds in the opener against Marquette.

2018-2019 (Sophomore): Saw action in 17 games off the bench for the Greyhounds… Scored all five of his points during the season against Delaware State in nine minutes of action.

2017-2018 (Freshman): Played in 24 games during his first year at Loyola, averaging 1.6 points per game… Hit a key first-half bucket at Lehigh (1/24) that helped spark the Greyhounds' offense... Scored eight on 4 of 5 shooting at Florida State (12/6)... Played a season-high 29 minutes at Mount St. Mary's (12/2)... Scored six, knocking down a pair of threes, to go with three assists against Goucher (11/21)... Made his Loyola debut against Towson (11/17) and scored six points.

Before Loyola: Was a four-year standout at Lexington (Kentucky) Catholic High School… Earned All-Kentucky Second Team honors from the Lexington Herald-Leader in balloting by state coaches after his 2016-2017 senior year… Was a two-time All-Lexington honoree by the newspaper and also picked up All-District 43 recognition from coaches as a junior and senior… Averaged 22 points and seven assists per game in 2016-17 as a senior after posting averages of 24 points and six assists the year prior… Was All-Kentucky Honorable Mention as a junior… Led the Knights to the Region 11 Championship Game as a senior.. Played AAU for the KY Grind, helping the squad win the Eddy Ford Championship.
